About Me

SmartinS: Since 2004 I've embraced the challenge of following the scientific research area, starting in Ireland with a research project to finish my bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering and continuing the adventure for two years with a Master degree in Food Science and Technology. After this experience I decided to invest four years of my life – PhD degree – in the amazing world of PLANTS. This last journey gave me the chance to travel and experience new cultures (Mexico and Brazil), extending my knowledge about the incredible biodiversity of PLANTS and its potential in human health. This path also gave me the opportunity to develop other activities connected with PLANTS and their POWER, such as Alternative Medicine (Ayurvedic and Naturopathic Medicines), Organic Agriculture and Permaculture.
